PVC fascia, soffit and gutter in Dundalk

The soffit, fascia and gutter on this house in Dundalk, Co. Louth, were old and in need of repair.  Like many old houses, the soffit and fascia were made of wood and the gutters were aluminium (you can also find cast iron gutters and downpipes on old houses). We installed black PVC soffit, fascia and gutters.

Building providers usually stock black and white PVC soffit, fascia, gutters and downpipes (some also stock brown ones), but you can also order from them different wood effect finishes.

I usually advise my customers to opt for black or white PVC. Brown PVC looks very good when it's new but the colour tends to fade away faster.

Our customer was happy with the results and wrote us this very kind testimonial:

Very happy with the service provided. Anthony answered my request very quickly and came to see the potential job within a week. He explained all the job to be done very well, when he would be available to do the job, the best options and provided the quote within the same day. The work was done earlier than expected in a very professional way and it looks amazing, so I'm really happy with the result. I recommend him 100%

Detail of the damage on the old wooden fascia. Most new builds use PVC for its durability.

New builds also favour PVC gutters and downpipes over aluminium and cast iron for their lower cost.
