Kitchen renovation in Drogheda

We installed a centre-pivot Velux roof window with flat tile flashing in this kitchen in Drogheda.

We put 50 mm insulation boards between the rafters and counter battened them with 2x2 timber to strengthen the roof after the ceiling joists were removed. It also made it possible for the electricians to put the wires through without drilling and weakening the rafters.

We arranged for a plumber to redirect the pipes out of the way and for an electrician to put 3 recessed LED lights on each side of the window.  Then we plasterboarded the ceiling with a tape and joint finish and painted the ceiling white.

We used Clarke's Carpentry Services to renovate our kitchen and to install a Velux window and we were very satisfied with their workmanship. They were skilled, competent, reliable and communicative. The work was commenced and completed in line with their assurances and was competitively priced. We would have no hesitation in recommending them and we will book them again for other carpentry jobs in the house
